Buildwise.org is a labor of love for a group of building professionals and building researchers dedicated to making information about homebuilding and design easily accessible. We saw a need to provide quality, free and inexpensive books and guides.

Although advancements in the building sciences and design keep piling up. Architects, builders and homeowners have not been able to readily access and use this info. Unfortunately the general quality of homebuilding and design is declining even though info exists to efficiently and economically build homes better than ever before.

Buildwise.org's mission is to help change this information gap. We are happy to provide quality free and inexpensive information for all who are interested in making housing better.
