The focus of this book is housing rehabilitation which is different than
remodeling. Rehabilitation means "to restore to good condition",
while remodeling indicates a change to something significantly different.
A good guide for anyone rehabilitating site features of older homes. Provides
discussion and alternate techniques for handling a variety of site related
issues.
Issues covered include:
- wood decks, porches and fences, repair, preservation, techniques
- paved driveways, walks, patios and masonry walls, seal, patch and
