Review
Easy to use 3D CAD program for planning kitchens. Really cool for a free
CAD program, but limits design to IKEA products. Allows the user to create
a simple room with windows and doors, then install cabinets. Work in plan
and then switch to 3D. Allows rotation of drawing in 3D. Drawings can
be downloaded to IKEA for price quotes. Given the CAD program's cost,
its not surprising there are limitations regarding how unique a floor
plan and space one can draw. For most projects this is probably not a
problem.
One down side is the program seems to reset the
screen size on buildwise.org's computers to fit a predetermined area.
This problem is not permanent as the old settings are easily be restored.
